We were initially attracted to the leashes because of the unique feature of them having the ability to clip around the human’s waist. The prime user of the leashes in our family runs about 8 miles with our two dogs every evening and wrangles with either holding onto two leashes or tying them around his waist, neither being ideal. We spoke at length to the business owner about the durability of the waist clips, as we have Huskies who are bred to pull and wanted to make sure the clips would last. We’ve had the leashes for a few weeks now and both Huskies and human are totally thrilled! The waist clips are high quality and have made the entire leash issue while running disappear. It’s a miracle! In addition, the vibrant colors and quality of the materials on both the leashes and the collars (we purchased both so they would match) are great. The leashes are thick, but not heavy, and soft to the touch. The hardware is very sturdy. We love the two-tone collars, a really easy way to add a bit more style to the typical monotone look. They’re definitely the highest quality collars our dogs have worn yet. Thick, sturdy and very well made. Finally, we cannot say enough amazing things about the customer service we received from River Banks! We had a lot of back and forth messaging. The owner was always quick to respond, detailed in her messages, caring and honest in her replies. It felt as if we had a personal shopper. She is not a salesperson trying to mislead you. She will guide you toward the products that meet your needs or be honest if they do not. She also is open to feedback for future products. She actually makes each of the products one by one, herself.
